  1. Photographers and camera operators capture content on the water. Their devices automatically sync selected files (photos and lightweight videos) directly to an initial Tidecut directory via TideFTP.
  2. The Community Manager, staying dry in the press room, uses these instantly received media files to bring the event to life on social media down to the second. No more duplicate coverage in the field: this avoids having the CM and the camera crews producing the same images at the same time.
  3. Once the finish is over, photographers and camera operators return to the press center and calmly process their original files (RAW, 4K footage) on their computers.
  4. They then upload their final post-processed high-definition selection into another Tidecut directory. These files are then distributed in a targeted way through the Collections system (Press, Partners, VIP, etc.).
