Notre terrain de jeu est celui des environnements exigeants, avec une spécialisation historique dans l’univers de la course au large.

C’est en suivant des équipages autour du monde et en couvrant des départs de courses majeures que nous avons été confrontés à une réalité brutale : les outils de bureau ne sont pas adaptés à l’urgence et à l’instabilité du terrain.
The realization: the missing link in media production.
In the field, we were losing precious time. On one side we had ultra-high-performance cameras, and on the other, partners waiting for images in real time. Between the two, we identified a technical gap.
Traditional tools hit their limits as soon as the connection became unstable (satellite offshore, congested 4G on pontoons or by the roadside). Once the files were uploaded, manual sorting and distribution to the press or partners turned into a time sink. So we decided to build the tool we could not find: Tidecut.
What is Tidecut? An intelligent library (DAM)
Tidecut is a DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform. Unlike a simple shared folder, it is an intelligent library designed to centralize and structure your media professionally.
We built it around four operational pillars:
- 1. Resilient acquisition Our solution guarantees the transfer of your media even when the network is unstable. If the satellite or 4G connection drops, the upload automatically resumes where it stopped. No file is lost and no manual action is required.
- 2. A rigorous approval process To ensure your Brand Safety, Tidecut includes a collaborative approval workflow. You retain full control over what can or cannot be distributed in real time, avoiding communication mistakes in the urgency of live operations.
- 3. AI-assisted sorting This technology saves hours of work thanks to AI that can detect the elements specific to your sport. It automatically identifies your sponsors, sail numbers, or race bibs as soon as files arrive. It also handles video transcription and translation while integrating your technical jargon.
- 4. Tailor-made distribution collections In just a few clicks, turn your approved media into professional galleries. Your partners and the press can access them instantly, publicly or privately, without needing to create an account.
